Hello Everyone!

How have your needles been doing this summer? It seems like it is a good time for many to stitch and relax on vacation or inside, while the temperature rises. I always travel more so the stitching time is limited.....BUT I have been working on many new and exciting projects for the end of this year and next year.

One of the new ones is going to be taught in Branson, MO, next July. What FAB FAB time we all had. I saw students that have been gone from my stitching circle since 2001! YIKES! So glad to welcome you all back!!! Anyway, the project for that weekend will be featuring a special item that is handmade in the Ozarks! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

It is time for that road trip I spoke of in the last letter. The van is packed, over packed, and I haven't even picked up Penny and Bonnie yet! It is off to St. Simon's Island and then back to Asheville. Penny drives it all, while Bonnie is copilot and I contemplate my teachings in the back seat...and am the stewardess that hands out the beverages and snacks. (WELL, except when we see a Starbucks!)

After that I am off to Ireland, with my husband. We are really looking forward to it, but will miss our Bailey something awful. I am going to investigate Irish needlework. CJ is considering golfing and we will enjoy the countryside as we are not going to the big cities. We will be staying in the rolling green hillside.

September, whew! I was going to do one class! It has turned into three special Halloween/fall ones!
I am flying to the east coast of Florida and will be celebrating the grand opening of the Suncoast
Regional Needlework Exhibit...very exciting! THEN, for those EGA members who attend this Thursday preview, I am offering a TREAT! There will be a class on Friday. Check the "Where Are You Susan," on this site. It will explain more about it.
How about that Saturday? A FUNDERFUL class is going to be held at the Cinnamon Inn. This place is darling and the project(s). I LOVE THEM! Don't miss it. Sign up with Claire.
Lastly, I will be coming back to Michigan to celebrate the fall season with all of my longest time friends!!!!! We have a limited edition project, too. SO, don't miss the fun.

October takes me to the Louisville Celebration of Needlework. This is one of the largest venue that I do all year. It is the second time and everything was just perfect there last year. Come on over, take a class from me or one of the many offerings that are available. BUT be sure and sign up for the Friday night charity extravaganza. I am your hostess and you will have the time of your life.

The rest of the year is SOLD OUT, except we have just worked out the End of the Year Party at Golden Needle in Pt. Charlotte. If you are in the Florida area....DON'T MISS THIS!

Safe travels and healthy times to ALL of you.

Still Stitching, Susan

PS Have you ordered your ornament kit, for the JCS 2008 issue? I have them available..without the magazine...so you can get them from your local needlework shop OR with it. You decide. Both pieces: $35.00. Kit only: $28.00
