"Still Stitching" Susan
Greening Davis - Designer - Instructor of Needlework Workshops |
Tuesday - Friday 10-6 www.creativepictureframing.com It's hard to believe that the holiday season has arrived! We will
soon be baking cookies, wrapping gifts, and planning our family celebrations.... As Santa's elves, we are all very busy this time of year, but amidst
all the hustle and bustle, we hope that you'll take time for yourselves
to relax with a needlework project (or a good book and a cup of tea). There's still time to stitch up an ornament or a pincushion for that
special friend or family member - many of the new designs below will
work up in an evening or two. Have you had your eye on a special chart, kit, or pair of scissors
or another accessory? Remember that you may leave a "wish list" with
us at the shop; if someone comes in looking for a gift for you, we
will point them in the right direction! We have a nice selection of scissors, needle minders, pincushions
and some new wooden boxes (see below); all would be thoughtful gifts
for the stitchers on your list. You still a little time left to have a piece framed for holiday gift-giving;
please get it in to us as soon as possible, to allow for changes if
your chosen mat or moulding is out of stock with our vendors. Remember
to use your "Creative Cash" if you have some saved from a
previous order. Congratulations to Deb Lonergan, who won the November raffle prize. As a special promotion this month, any person who calls Vaugh Photography
and schedules a family portrait session by December 31, 2010, will
be eligible to receive a discount on that session. The discounted rate
will be $19.00 for a one-hour session, regularly priced at $89.00.
Call for details on portrait and package pricing. Vaugh Photography
is located on the upper level of our building. Phone them at 508-829-2011,
or visit their website: Our holiday hours will be as follows: As always, we appreciate your continued support, and look forward
to seeing you at the shop. If you see something in this newsletter
that you'd like to purchase, but can't make it into the shop, please
call....we will be happy to take your order over the phone and mail
the item(s) to you. We charge only the exact amount of postage, unless
we need to use special packaging. Kim T., who learned to do counted cross-stitch just a few months ago,
has already completed and framed two pieces, and is working on a
third.
