I have been working wth Linda Eaton, curator for this textile wonder, for a few months now…and she is still putting things together, but it is time to announce this wonderful opportunity-as our special group is limited in size. You need to sign up, pay your non-refundable deposit to secure your space, and join me on another special journey. I have attended their presentation events……ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!
Space is limited to the first 16 stitchers ONLY. This is set up for double occupancies. IF you need a roommate, I will work on it. There are no single accommodations, unless I do not book up, and you would need to pay an additional fee.

**Winterthur Museum is an American icon of history. The collections of textiles are stunning.
As of right now this is what Linda is able to share with me: two mornings of lectures (4 lectures each morning). Joan DeJean (whose book on a family of professional embroiders in Paris - The Queen’s Embroider ), Tricia Nugent will speck on creating historically accurate reproductions. Susan Broadman, will speak on historical imagery…and more to come! and afternoons of workshops, tours, etc. Workshop teachers, scheduled at this time-Tricia Nugent, Joanne Harvey and others who will have a range of skill levels f0r stitching projects. (The fee I am charging does not include kit fees or these two workshops).

Tours and workshops to visit the library recourse (I LOVED THIS ONE!!!!), conservation lab!!!, and to see the home and the collections. The knowledge and passion, that will be shared with you, at these sections of the event will remind you why saving all of these vintage embroideries is so important and why I am on a mission to do just that! I want it to be NOW!

**On our pre-day I will be doing a project, and lunch will be included, for you at the Inn. I am very excited about this time we will share.

You are responsible for your own transportation, but if you book with Stiles in Travel (Judi) I am sure we will work out transfers to and from the airport.

** 4 Nights, with breakfast
** Lunch on my workshop day, at the Mendenhall Inn (October 18)
**All of the above and MUCH more that Linda is working on
**Plus, a treat, or two from me!
